Wedding guest list

One line per guest or household with how many people it covers, which side and group they belong to, their RSVP, table and meal, and a note. The totals update as you type: people on the list, confirmed, waiting, declined, not sent, and the headcount to plan for at your response rate, starting at 80 % (Zola, "How Many Guests Should I Expect to Come to My Wedding?", read 2026-09-19). Export the list as CSV or print it; it never leaves this browser.

Your list

No guests yet. Add one line per guest or household, with how many people it covers; the totals update as you type and the list stays in this browser.

Expected = confirmed + (waiting + not sent) x response rate, so it moves towards the confirmed count as answers come in. The UI rounds; the maths does not.

How it works

People on the list = the sum of the “people” column (a couple is one line with 2, a family of four one line with 4, up to 20 per line). Confirmed = people whose RSVP is yes; declined = no; waiting = invited or maybe; not sent = invitations still to go out. Expected headcount = confirmed + (waiting + not sent) x response rate, so it starts as a forecast and ends as the confirmed count once every answer is in.

The response rate is the share of the people you invite who say yes. It starts at 80 % (Zola, "How Many Guests Should I Expect to Come to My Wedding?", read 2026-09-19) and you can change it. At 80 %, inviting 100 people means about 80 at the wedding, and a headcount of 100 takes about 125 invitations; the guide linked below has the full tables.

Tables and meals count confirmed people only, so the seating plan and the caterer’s numbers follow the yeses. When you have used the wedding budget calculator, its cost per guest prices the expected headcount at the bottom of the panel. The CSV export opens in Excel or Google Sheets with the same columns; the print view is the list alone.

Starting response rate: Zola, "How Many Guests Should I Expect to Come to My Wedding?" (updated 2025-11-10): "you can usually expect around 75-85 percent of those invited to actually attend the wedding" (about 85 % of local guests, 55 % of out-of-town guests, 35 % for a destination wedding); 80 % is the midpoint of that published range, which Zola gives as a rule of thumb rather than survey data — https://www.zola.com/expert-advice/what-percentage-of-guests-should-you-expect-to-come-to-your-wedding Read on 2026-09-19.

Frequently asked questions

Where is my guest list stored?
In this browser's local storage, on this device, and nowhere else: nothing is uploaded, there is no account and we cannot see it. It stays until you clear the list or the browser's site data. To keep a copy or work on another device, export the CSV.
How do I count couples, families and plus-ones?
One line per invitation with the number of people it covers, from 1 to 20: a couple is one line with 2, a family of four is one line with 4, a single guest with a plus-one is one line with 2. Every total counts people, not lines.
What does the expected headcount mean?
Confirmed people plus the share of the waiting and not-sent people you expect to say yes, at the response rate in the panel (starting at 80 % (Zola, "How Many Guests Should I Expect to Come to My Wedding?", read 2026-09-19)). It is the number to give a venue early on; as answers come in it converges on the confirmed count.
Can I share the list with my partner or the venue?
Export the CSV and send the file, or print the list (the print view shows the list alone, without the site around it). There is no online sharing or RSVP collection: guests answer you, you mark the RSVP here.
Does the list send invitations or collect RSVPs online?
No. It is a tracker: you record who is invited, how many people they bring, what they answered, and their table and meal. Invitations and replies go through whatever you already use.
