Free tools, no account
Your wedding budget, cost per guest and guest list, in one place, without an account.
WeddingTally turns a guest count into a budget with a source on every average, checks the cost per guest against your country, and keeps the guest list with RSVPs, tables and meals in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
The three tools
Wedding budget calculator
Guests, country and spending level to an estimated total, the split by category with its source, the cost per guest and where you sit against the national average.
Wedding cost per guest calculator
Your budget divided by your guests, against the national average per guest, and how many guests that budget covers at the average.
Wedding guest list
Names, party size, side, group, RSVP, table and meal; totals and the headcount to plan for at your response rate; CSV export and print. Kept in your browser.
How it works
Step 1
Set the budget
Type your guest count, pick your country and a spending level, or your own cost per guest. You get the total, the split by category and where you sit against the national average, each figure with its source and the date it was read.
Step 2
Check the cost per guest
Divide the budget you really have by the guests you want. The calculator compares it with your country's published average, tells you how many guests that budget covers at the average, and what your guest count costs at it.
Step 3
Build the guest list
One line per invitation with the people it covers, side, group, RSVP, table and meal. The totals and the headcount to plan for update as you type; export the CSV or print the list.
Starting values for United States first, then United Kingdom, Canada, Australia; any other country with your own average per guest.
Why there is no account
A guest list is a list of your family and friends. It stays in this browser’s storage on your device, together with your budget and your cost per guest, so the three tools can share it and so nobody else can. There is no sign-up, no email to confirm, no server that holds a copy.
When you want it elsewhere, export the guest list as CSV (it opens in Excel or Google Sheets), print it, or open Pro for the printable planner. Clearing the browser’s site data removes everything; the CSV is your backup.
Planning on paper? Pro prints this budget, your guest list and a month-by-month checklist.
Budget by category, guest list with tables and meals, checklist dated from your wedding day, up to three scenarios, Excel export. Kept in this browser.
Frequently asked questions
- Is WeddingTally free?
- The three tools and the guide are free, with no account and no email. Pro is the paid printable planner: the budget by category, the guest list with tables and meals, a month-by-month checklist dated from your wedding day, up to three scenarios and an Excel export, built from the numbers you already typed.
- Where do the averages come from?
- Published figures for United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, each shown with its source and the date it was read, under the field it fills and in the Sources section of each tool. They are starting values to save typing, not a claim about your wedding: overwrite any of them with a quote. For any other country, type the average cost per guest you expect.
- Where is my data kept?
- In your browser's local storage, on your device. Nothing is uploaded, so there is nothing for us to see, lose or sell. The three tools share those inputs with each other and with Pro in the same browser; clearing the site data removes them, and the CSV export is your copy.
- Is this financial advice?
- No. The tools do arithmetic on the numbers you type and on published national averages; they are planning estimates. Venue, city and season move real prices a long way from any average, and only quotes from your suppliers can replace them.
