Frequently asked questions
- Where do the numbers come from?
- From you. The three free tools start with published averages per country (each with its source and the date it was read) and you overwrite them with your own guest count, cost per guest, total and guest list. The planner recomputes exactly what you saved in this browser, with the same maths as the free pages; nothing is fetched live and nothing is uploaded.
- Is this financial advice?
- No. The planner is an estimate built from the figures you typed, laid out to print. The national averages are quoted with their source and year so you can see where you stand; the spending levels are stated multipliers, not survey tiers. Decisions about your money are yours to take.
- Is anything stored on a server?
- No. The budget, the guest list with every name and note, your names, the wedding date and the scenarios live in this browser's local storage only; the planner is printed or saved as PDF and exported to Excel from there. The one thing that leaves your device is the email you type at checkout, which Stripe uses for the receipt and which lets you reopen Pro on another device.
- Can I get a refund?
- Pro opens the moment you pay. If the planner does not do what this page says, write within 14 days and you get a full refund. The monthly plan renews until you cancel it from the Manage subscription link shown once Pro is open; the lifetime plan is paid once and stays open for good. Details on the refund policy page.
- What if I have not used the tools yet?
- Use them first: the wedding budget calculator for the budget page and the scenarios, the guest list for the guest pages. Each keeps its inputs in this browser, so the planner shows a link to the tool for any section that has no data yet; the checklist only needs your wedding date.
